This year, to commemorate the centennial of Achille Castiglioni’s birth, MINIM hosts the exhibition “Achille Castiglioni 100^th organized by Zanotta.  An event honoring the great Italian designer, considered one of the most important figures of Italian design.  Some of his most famous pieces that have created in collaboration with Zanotta will be on the exhibiton.

Known all over the world for his avant-garde style and his unique sence of humor, Achille Castiglioni stood out for his furniture and lighting pieces that have become design icons with its innovation timeless and irony. Some of this ingenious pieces were created from common objects like a tractor seat  or a bicycle racing saddle.

The presentation of the exhibition will take place on 28 November at MINIM. We will have the priviledge of having Giovanna Castiglioni, the designer’s daughter and the vice-president  of the Achille Castiglioni’s Foundation.
