David López Quincoces in MINIM Barcelona & Madrid
The prestigious Italian furniture brand Living Divani brought to MINIM one of its flagship designers, the Spaniard based in Milan David López Quincoces (Madrid, 1980). Next Tuesday, October 24 in Barcelona and Thursday, October 26 in Madrid, Quincoces was the guest of honor at MINIM, at an event dedicated to his career, as well as the prolific ten-year collaboration with Living Divani.
The relationship between Quincoces and Living Divani dates back to 2013. It was then, when the designer made his first collection for the Italian company: the Track bench. The piece, with minimalist lines, a steel structure and an elegant cushion, fit perfectly with Living Divani's style, characterized by quiet luxury, which emanates quality without stridency. This first design was followed by many more, which soon became emblems of the brand. Among them, the Nina stool, the Sailor bookcase, the Era desk, the Kasbah outdoor collection or one of its latest innovations, the Ark armchair.
Quincoces, graduated in Art from the Complutense University of Madrid and with a Master's Degree in Interior Design from the Polytechnic of Milan, impregnates his artistic training in each of his pieces. The rigorous, pure and synthetic shapes of his collections for Living Divani are strongly consistent with the clean and impeccable lines that have defined the Italian brand for more than 50 years.
The presentation “Living Divani & David López Quincoces. A decade of coherence” was accompanied by a wide exhibition of all the collections made by Quincoces for Living Divani during this fruitful decade of collaboration.
