Refuge in the Sierra de Madrid
Refuge in the Sierra de Madrid
A contemporary cabin
Located among the lush forests of the Serra de Madrid, this single-family house designed by architect Ángel Vargas exemplifies the perfect balance between modernity and nature. The habitat is organically integrated with the environment through a modern structure with fine-tuned amps. They capture and celebrate the beauty of the landscape, reminiscent of a contemporary cabin in the woods.
Thus each interior element reflects and complements the exterior. Teixits suaus invite you to touch; the whip distills the warmth; the suro provides a touch of earthy texture; If the paper plays with the light, it creates a constant dialogue with the light.
Aside from the other buildings, each part of the house, from the living room to the library, offers panoramic views and natural lighting that enhances the entire interior.
For this furniture project, MINIM Madrid has conceived a harmonious design, which also unifies and unifies the zones, from the home office to the living room, enhancing a clean environment. The furniture is triat by the adaptability and versatility to fulfill different functions, according to each moment.
Under a glass walkway, the menjador connects to a suspended library. Here, the Hanny d'Artisan taula joins the Grand Prix luminaires by Fritz Hansen with the PH5 luminaires by Louis Poulsen. We complement the elegant wiggle stool by Vitra and the cork stool by Classicon, together with the paper Akari lighting, also by Vitra.
In favor of the xemeneia, the Extrasoft modular sofa by Living Divani invites you to relax and contemplate the privileged landscape, flanked by fish by Fritz Hansen, E15 and Woodnotes. This space, versatile and portable, is easily transformed into a reading rack or a desk for meetings or projections, according to the needs of each occasion.
The synergies between the furniture and the natural light that is filtered through the finstrals provide a perfect environment to enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful room.
