La Barraca de Santa & Cole was born in May 2011 by Nina Masó, co-founder and publisher of Santa & Cole's interior collection, and Dario Valero, interior designer and head of the interior commercial area, with the intention of bringing the Novelties of the Barcelona publisher to professionals of the design and the architecture of different cities of Spain. Inspired by the Itinerant Theater Company, La Barraca, by Federico García Lorca and Eduardo Ugarte with which they represented classical Spanish plays in Spanish towns from 1932, Nina and Dario gathered the latest additions to the interior catalog in a Van and headed towards Palencia. The successes of the first tour of La Barraca followed in Oviedo, Santander, Gerona, Menorca and Barcelona. And in this second season we have already been in cities like Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña or the recent route through Alicante and Valencia. As in the puppet theaters and as if it were magic, Nina Masó manages to bring the spectator to the arts in design of Santa & Cole, and without being a presentation of novelties to use, or a play , Sows emotions of both, becoming an extraordinary experience on design.
